My wife and I started coming to Myrtle Beach when our children were very young to vacation. We enjoyed the beach so much after our first year we just kept coming back year after year. Eventually as our boys grew older we decided we would like to retire down here to the beach from New York and started looking for homes. We purchased our home in 2018 and once our oldest son Darryl graduated from high school, we decided to make the move permanent so that is what we did on August 1st of 2021.

While Darryl was in high school and the year we moved down here he worked on the water doing jet ski rentals, boat rentals and parasailing. Darryl came up with the idea of opening our own family-owned Jet Ski rental business in the Myrtle Beach area. I began to investigate the business and as a family we agreed it would be a good idea.

In May of 2022 on Memorial Day weekend we opened our local family-owned Jet Ski Rental business called Crazy Watersports. With the help of our youngest son Tyler, my wife Joanna and my brother-in-law Danny we started taking renters out and sharing our Jet Ski experience with the public.

Our first year we decided to start off small with three rentals and one ranger ski but business is better than we could have expected. We enjoy taking people out who never Jet Skied before, and people who have tons of experience Jet Skiing, and sharing our love of the water with them. As our business is growing we are looking into adding to our jet ski fleet and in the near future adding pontoon boats for rentals. We believe in providing great customer satisfaction and making sure you leave happier than when you came.
